i was browsing some fanfiction yesterday and found this. no, it's not like *stultiloquentia's and *macha's poems which manage to wring everything out of me every time, but it made me wonderfully happy for a whole day. it is dark and hypnotic, and while one reads it one feels everything melt, swim, throb with an internal rhythm all of its own.
i'm not entirely sure what is happening there - a body swap between buffy and illyria, i think? that in itself is strange and intriguing.
